Baile

Every year the SoBaile-committee organizes the Gala or, in SoSalsa! Terms, the Baile. This event always takes place somewhere in May. The SoBaile-committee consists of several board members from the previous year's board which in this case are Nick, Marjolein, Serge and Joeri. This year's theme is 'Fabulous Fifties'!

The Baile is different from other SoSalsa!-parties for it is a more exclusive party with a more elegant but salsa-proof dress code. Another difference is that only SoSalsa!-members can buy a ticket, with a maximum of two per person and it has to be paid beforehand. You are allowed and encouraged to bring a date who is not a member.
The music played on the Baile is of course salsa, merengue and bachata, but also music from the fifties and some more recent popular music. Tickets are priced only 25 Euro this year and this includes free drinks and snacks during the party. The Baile takes place at café Rootz in The Hague (Grote Marktstraat 4) on Friday the 14th of May, from 21:00 till 02:00. This also includes a special workshop at the start of the party!

There is a limited amount of tickets so you shouldn't wait to long with buying your tickets. You can make a reservation by sending an e-mail to sobaile@sosalsa.nl or at the SoSalsa!-borrel on monday the third of may. If you have already paid your tickets you can also pick them up there. You can pay in cash or transfer the money online (bankaccount of SoSalsa!: 41.48.53.415, please include 'Baile + Your Name').

The next borrel (may 3rd) is your last chance to order and pay for your tickets!
If you haven't paid by then, you cannot come to the Baile so make sure you do not disappoint your date and buy your tickets on time!
